Problem statement and Sustainability strategy

Problem statement

There are deep gaps in accessibility and opportunities among the different sections of people in Nagaland. In remote interior districts of backward areas, the accessibility to facilities and opportunities are very limited. Consequently the gaps between the haves and the have-nots are ever widening. The state needs to take immediate steps to address this ever widening gap and go for an inclusive development agenda. The rural- urban divide in the state is also very sharp. While in urban areas the accessibility to opportunities and services are much the rural areas are subjected to intense deprivation. Some areas are totally excluded from any services like market linkage, and the modern information communication technologies. Bridging this gap is very essential, and the rural people should become the agenda for providing services and welfare measures.

Sustainability strategy:
The process once owned and appreciated by the community will become institutionalized and made sustainable. The whole of this initiative aims at starting the development process which is owned and institutionalized in the villages.
The successful implementation of the Innovative Goat Farm pilot project is an example set for all other subsequent initiatives and interventions. We insist on transparency, accountability and uncompromising quality outcome.
